Live journal you're the oldest journal i have. Ive continued to update you over the years.. Today is the saddest day ive experienced in my 31 years of life. I thought losing my great grandmother destroyed me.. Last thursday January 18, 2018 i lost my pepe, my dear sweet pepe the most prominent and stable male rolemodel i ever had in my life and just like that he's gone. I can't begin to cope i dont know how to feel other than lost and hopeless and completely shattered. My heart literally aches. Here is his obituary. I can't believe this day has come..

J.R. Arthur Sauvageau, 71, of French Rd., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18h, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Norma I. (Capistrand) Sauvageau; his two sons, Adam Sauvageau of Southbridge and Heath Sauvageau of Southbridge; his two daughters, Amy Robidoux and her longtime companion Stephen Atamin of Southbridge and Beth Partlow and her husband Craig of Southbridge; four grandchildren, Kristie Robidoux, Michael Condrate, Joseph Partlow and Keith Sauvageau; three step grandchildren, Carly Allen, Jake Robidoux and Jessie McCay; and a great granddaughter, Autumn Partlow. He was predeceased by his sister, Janet Sauvageau. He was born in Southbridge the son of Albert “Pete” and Aurore B. (Morin) Sauvageau. Arthur was a graduate of the former Cole Trade High School in Southbridge and was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Arthur was a building contractor and owned and operated Old Town Builders for many years. He later worked for the Southbridge Housing Authority before retiring many years ago. Arthur was a devout Christian and enjoyed attending bible studies. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, music and trips to the casino.

A funeral Mass for Arthur will be held on Monday, Jan. 29th, at 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.

Joseph A.N. Morin, 82, of 124 Old Worcester Rd., passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 in U.Mass Hospital, University Campus in Worcester.

He leaves his wife of nearly 61 years; Dorothy L. (Barnes) Morin, three sons; David A.Morin and his wife Debra A., Bruce N. Morin, and Glenn A. Morin and his wife Donna, all of Charlton.

He also leaves 7 grandchildren; Renee, Jarrod, Nicholas, Justin, Melissa, Lance and Amber and 9 great grandchildren; Brianna, Cameron, Nathan, Tyler, Christina, Ryan, Alyssa, Zachary, and Gabriel.

Mr. Morin was born in Southbridge, a son of Arthur and Belva (Lapierre) Morin and has lived in Charlton since 1950.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers; Arthur and Ernest, and 3 sisters; Aurora, Irene and Jeannette.

Mr. Morin was a licensed plumber, gas fitter and carpenter and was self employed. He also served in the U.S. Army during the occupation of Japan.

He and his wife enjoyed travelling, especially on cruises. He was always happiest when he was surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on Friday, September 23.

The Funeral will be Saturday, September 24, 2011 with a Service at 12 noon in the Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral home, 175 Old Worcester Rd. Burial with Military Honors will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.

Calling Hours will be Saturday, from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the service.
